Regional authorities in Dnipropetrovsk said a night strike on an enterprise in the city of Dnipro initially left two people dead and four injured. As rescuers worked through the rubble, officials later reported three fatalities and six wounded. The number of dead then rose to four after emergency crews recovered another body. Search‑and‑rescue teams continued to clear debris at the damaged facility, warning that people could still be trapped underneath.
Ukraine’s defenders reported that Russian forces launched a large overnight attack concentrating on Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions. According to Ukrainian figures, air defenses shot down or suppressed 186 enemy targets. That tally included one of four Kalibr cruise missiles reportedly fired from the Caspian Sea, eight Banderol/Dan‑T strike drones, and 177 of 212 Shahed‑type attack drones and Parodiya‑type decoy drones. No interceptions were reported against Oniks anti‑ship missiles or ballistic missiles such as Iskander‑M, S‑400 or KN‑23 in this particular wave.
Despite the claimed interception rate, authorities acknowledged missile and drone impacts. In Poltava region, the regional administration described a mass overnight strike. In Kremenchuk district, a critical infrastructure facility and an industrial enterprise came under attack. In Poltava district, a drone fell on the territory of a private agricultural company, damaging an outbuilding and farm machinery.
Kyiv region also reported damage over the past day. The regional military administration said attacks and falling debris affected four districts: Bucha, Obukhiv, Brovary and Bila Tserkva. A total of 34 sites were reported damaged, including 23 private houses, two warehouses, one enterprise and eight vehicles. Bucha district suffered the heaviest damage.
Taken together, the incidents show how missile and drone strikes continue to reach deep into Ukraine’s interior, far from the front line. Industrial plants in Dnipro, warehouses and homes near Kyiv, and agricultural facilities in Poltava region all absorbed new damage in the same 24‑hour span.
The next signals to watch are whether Russian forces keep up this tempo of mass overnight strikes on central regions, and how quickly Ukrainian emergency services can clear rubble and restore damaged enterprises, homes and infrastructure.
