When the lights flicker across multiple Venezuelan states at the same time, it’s more than a technical inconvenience. It’s a reminder that the country’s energy backbone is still dangerously brittle.

These accounts point to a broad, nearly simultaneous voltage collapse affecting a swath of the country, though not an hours-long nationwide blackout.
