Footage and reporting from August 27 indicate that PDF fighters overran a government convoy or position and seized a Chinese “GBP128” Mine‑Clearing Line Charge (MCLC) and a SkyFend SPS100 “Hunter Lite” tactical anti‑drone jammer, among other materials. The GBP128 is designed to blast a safe path through minefields using a rocket‑propelled explosive line, while the SkyFend device is part of a new wave of portable systems meant to disrupt the signals that guide small drones.

For the soldiers who were operating this equipment, its loss is both a tactical and psychological blow.
