The strike caused a fire in the warehouse, with reports of intense combustion and thick black smoke rising from the building.

Further south in Odesa region, regional authorities said Russian forces again struck commercial warehouses holding goods that had been attacked previously. According to the regional administration, the latest impacts ignited a food storage facility. Officials reported that there were no deaths or injuries in this incident.

These attacks come amid a broader campaign by Russian forces against industrial and logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. Since early August, Russian pro-war channels have noted a rapid decline in the number of Ukrainian warehouse complexes, portraying strikes on storage and distribution sites in Ukraine as a response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian e‑commerce and logistics centers.

The immediate questions now are whether additional strikes hit other distribution hubs and retail sites in the coming days, and how quickly damaged warehouses and the Epicenter mall site can be cleared or rebuilt.
